Description

Amy Satterthwaite's White Ferns shirt, worn in the 2016 ICC World T20 tournament in India.

The tournament was played from 15 March to 3 April 2016 and was run concurrently with the men’s World T20 tournament.

The WHITE FERNS squad comprised Suzie Bates (c), Sophie Devine, Erin Bermingham, Leigh Kasperek, Felicity Leighton Davis, Katey Martin (wk), Sarah McGlashan (wk), Thamsyn Newton, Morna Neilsen, Katie Perkins, Anna Petersen, Rachel Priest (wk), Hannah Rowe, Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu.

Amy Satterthwaite bowled right arm medium and played in 66 international T20 matches.

New Zealand was in Group A (there were two Groups) which comprised New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Ireland), won all four matches and proceeded to the semi-final.

In the semi-final against the West Indies in Mumbai on 31 March, New Zealand won the toss and elected to field. The West Indies scored 143/6. New Zealand replied with 137/8, thereby losing the match by six runs.

The Size 12 shirt was made in China by Canterbury of New Zealand (established 1904). It comprises 85% polyester and 15% elastine, with the text and logos being screen printed.

Amy Satterthwaite, born on October 7, 1986, in Christchurch, is a New Zealand cricketer. She made her debut for the national team in 2007 and has since become a reliable middle-order batswoman.

She appeared in 145 ODI's and 111 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand between 2007 and 2022.
