Stephen Fleming, born on April 1, 1973, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is one of the most accomplished cricketers and captains in New Zealand's cricket history.
Fleming made his debut for the New Zealand national team in 1994 and went on to become the country's most capped Test and One Day International (ODI) player. Fleming served as the captain of the New Zealand cricket team from 1997 to 2007 and became the first New Zealand batsman to score 7,000 runs in Test cricket.
After retiring from international cricket in 2008, Fleming continued his involvement in the sport, including coaching and commentary roles.
